After 1952 and the impounding of the dam, local residents, architects, town planners, developers and ski professionals came up with and invented the "modern" resort of Tignes. In the face of natural constraints and the new needs of winter tourism, discover how, over the years, they were able to propose new architectural and urbanistic forms.
From the first development plan with the first "snow liner" and its permanent life center at 2000m altitude, through the real estate programs of the snow plan promoters to reinvented mountain chalets, follow the evolution of mountain development in the 20th century.
