With Yves à Albiez and the FACIM Foundation, discover panoramic views on snowshoes, mountain farming and Savoy cheeses, taste Beaufort and visit the farm while the cows are milked.
Raquettes gourmandes in association with the Fondation FACIM, bookable on albiezrandopatrimoine.com.
A short snowshoe hike in the late afternoon, when the mountain is silent again, accessible to the whole family, with an adapted pace and gradient.
Read the landscape maintained by the farmers, discover the panorama and the surrounding resorts and villages.
During the hike, in the middle of nature and in the meadows where hay, the staple winter feed for cows, has been gathered, we'll have a hot snack and taste Beaufort in a truly magnificent setting. No noise around us, just the crunch of snowshoes in the snow.
Towards the end of the hike, when the Tarine and Abondance cows are milked, we'll take a tour of the farm and learn about the farming profession, which combines tradition with the use of modern technology.
You'll be able to try your hand at milking a cow, even for children, to see for yourself where the milk comes from, and stroke the newborn calves.
A welcome and relaxing change after your day's skiing, in the middle of nature and in the silence after the lifts have stopped.
Welcome to my hikes and see you soon for new discoveries. Yves
