How have people adapted to the constraints of the mountains in terms of housing, work and transport? This model is a fun way for children to think about this question.
For children aged 7/8 and over - accompanied by an adult
A workshop for children (8-12 years) to enjoy with the whole family. With the help of models, they can playfully explore the village's location on the slope, its natural and economic constraints, the different neighborhoods, building materials, housing uses and public buildings, and make connections between past and present uses.
Activity led by a guide from the Pays d'art et d'histoire des Hautes vallées de Savoie (www.fondation-facim.fr).
