Thematic itineraries
The Fondation Facim manages five itineraries for discovering the Savoy architecture and heritage : the Baroque trail for the religious patrimony, Savoy fortresses for the fortified patrimony, Lands of the Alps for the rural heritage and ways of life, High altitude archipelagos for the architecture of the winter sports resorts and Around the table for the culinary heritage. More than 160 sites have thus been included in the network.
Within the context of these itineraries, activities destined for all types of people (visitors, individuals, groups of young tourists or school parties) are proposed all year round. Carried out in conjunction with the local partners (town halls, tourist offices and associations), they are in the form of:
• activities accompanied by guides-lecturers, from the Fondation Facim : visits and guided tours, conferences, discovery games, teaching workshops etc.
• tastings in local restaurants organised with the chefs and local producers: cooking workshops, meals or chatting -tasting, visits for tasting local specialities etc
• free to visit as you wish discovery trips : the Chemins du baroque edifices, the baroque buildings, travelling exhibitions etc.
